Meena Cheng is the founder and principal of Impact Financial based in Kirkland, Washington. She is an affiliated advisor of Vantage Point Financial.
She is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® Professional with 30+ years in the financial services business. She also holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Utah and has worked as a CPA, mostly in the tax areas.
Between 2003 and 2007, she was a personal finance newspaper columnist for the King County Journal and has appeared as a financial professional on numerous radio and television programs, including CNBC’s Power Lunch.
In 2011, 2012, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2024 and 2025, she was awarded the Five Star Wealth Manager* by Seattle Magazine.
In 2013, she won first place in the Toastmaster Area Humorous Speech Contest with the speech “Children from Mars and Venus,” a humorous speech that was based on the hilarious differences between her two children.
In 2014, she won first place in the Toastmaster Area International Speech Contest with the speech “How You Do Anything Is How You Do Everything," an inspiring speech that was based on one of her life mantras.
Since 2023, she and Ashley have worked together as each other’s affiliated partner to better serve our clients.
In her spare time, Meena is a voracious reader and an enthusiastic cook who once cooked a 50-course dinner for her brother’s 50th birthday!
